BIOGRAPHY

T-Bone grew up mostly in Durban and has lived all over South Africa.

His Professional Theatre career began with a vibrant production of `The Blues Brothers’ at the Langoustines Theatre in Durban (dir:Duncan Royce). The show traveled to The Civic Theatre in Johannesburg, The Barnyard Theatre in Witrivier, East London & Cape Town.

Other Musicals include 'Far From The Madding Crowd’ at The Playhouse Opera in Durban, also Herr Zeller in 'The Sound of Music’(dir:Ralph Lawson) & 'Jimbo' (dir:Themi Venturas) & 'Forever Home' (dir:Fr Merlin Ince omi) among others.

Drama's include the role of XC in `Seeing Red’ (written & dir:Greig Coetzee), and the award winning `To House’ (written & dir:Ashwin Singh). `Shades of Marguerite Poland' (dir:Caroline Smart & Patrick Collier) among others.

His biggest role was Othello for which he was nominated Best Actor in a Lead Role at the prestigious Durban Theatre Awards. `Othello’ (dir:Garth Anderson). Previous Shakespeare productions include 'McBeth' where he played the role of MacDuff, for which he was nominated Best Supporting Actor.

Recent Television success includes the `Ola Milky Lane' advert featuring T-Bone as The Waffleman. T-Bone has been featured in many Training & Corporate videos. He played a featured role in the unreleased movie `The Sunflower’ opposite Hakeem kae Kazeem & Bill Flynn

Another memorable experience was training, entertaining, facilitating and motivating the Coca-Cola Popstars 1 & 2 which was shown on SABC 3 & SABC 1 respectively.

T-Bone finished matric at Kearsney College in the early 90's where he received Cultural Honours for his contribution to school cultural activities;
Initiating a dance club, member of the school's Pop Band, playing lead roles in school productions (Kenicke in `Grease', Appolyon in `Christian', Pharoah in `Joseph' and more), directing house plays and more.

T-Bone completed his B.A Degree at UKZN-Pietermaritzburg. At University he founded the Chess Club, Netball Club and African Choral Society (which now sings at UKZN graduation ceremonies). He was very active in contributing to campus life, having organized several sporting & social events. At one point T-Bone was Vice-President Marketing of A.I.E.S.E.C. on campus. AIESEC is an international student development association.

At University T-Bone played various lead & support roles such as Danny in `Grease(dir:Peter Mitchell), John in `The Island (dir:Philani Shezi), mostly performed at the Hexagon Theatre. Awards include Best Individual Performance and a Certificate of Merit for Academic Achievement for Drama in Education.

T-Bone's new drive is to get more people involved in Theatre. He believes "...not enough people understand and appreciate Theatre, but more importantly not enough people know where Theatre is happening so they spend their money on other things." As head of  Theatre SA Online he has taken on an ambitious project (getting bums on seats) with a creative approach.

T-Bone loves the outdoors (hiking, biking, game walks etc) and his favourite spots include The Drakensberg, Durban Beachfront, Mpumalanga and the Garden Route.

If you need a motivational speaker, actor, singer, dancer, organiser, trainer, MC, puppeteer, marketer, team builder and more... you know who to call...
