BIOGRAPHY
Lauren's singing career began at the tender age of 7 when she
appeared in The Playhouse Company's production of
'The Sound of Music'. Since then, Lauren has appeared in several musicals
including 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' and 'Annie'.
She was a backing singer for Garth Taylor in the Simply Red Tour
of South Africa, and has performed at huge events at the I.C.C.
and Absa Sports Stadium. One of Lauren's proudest moments, was when
she sang for Nelson Mandela at the International Peace Awards.
She has recorded with Garth Taylor and Pro Kid, and released her
own album 'Bounce'. Lauren's album produced a hit single, entitled,
"For the Girls" which appeared on the charts of East Coast Radio, 5FM and
many other radio stations.
Lauren has also starred in several productions at uShaka Marine World, and
as a front line singer at Barnyard Theatre, Gateway.
This extremely motivated young artist holds a degree in media and
communications, and also finds time to perform on a no-fee basis for
her charity of choice - The Sunflower Fund.
