BIOGRAPHY

Kim Engelbrecht is a Cape Tonian who hails from the much talked about rich
culture of the Cape Flats.

Kim made her big break at the tender age of twelve when she landed the lead role
of Sarah in an Italian production called Sarah Sara directed
by Renzo Martinelli of Martinelli Productions based in Milan.
She landed a job at 'E-TV', where she was an anchor presenter on Craz-E, which
aired daily on national television and soon Kim became a household brand.
It was not long then Kim was snatched by the SABC to host the flagship show
to the SABC Education, 'Take Five'.

In 2000 she relocated to Johannesburg to take on the hub of the
South African media industry. The Take Five journey
took Kim to many a South African location and brought her closer to
sound of the South African youth's voice. A voice, which she understands
and answers to. As validation of her presenting skills she was awarded the
prestigious DUKU DUKU AWARD as the BEST FEMALE PRESENTER.

After a two-year spin as a youth programme presenter Kim decided to
venture into the world of acting where she moulded the character of Lolly,
a controversial teenager on the popular South African soapie 'Isidingo'.
She also joined the PURE MONATE CREW where she was assigned to write
and perform comedy, which was a challenge she grasped with open arms,
especially since it is a sector of the industry, which is dominated by males.

Kim is a multi talented ball of enthusiasm that has a love to explore
her God given talents.
