Grethe Fox has worked as a leading actress in
over 50 Theatre Productions,
11 films for television,
18 television series
and 6 feature films.
Grethe has produced and directed various arts documentaries
and music videos
- HALALA AFRIKA with Johannes Kerkorrel;
- a profile of Isabel Doll and the Soweto Street Beat dancers
during a director's training course at the SABC;
- a profile of actress Anna-Mart van der Merwe entitled ANNA-MART
for SABC 3;
- Andrew Buckland and the First Physical Theatre Company
in THE LIBERATED BODY for Arts Unlimited on SABC 3.
Grethe has twice been a judge on the panel of the M-Net All Africa Awards
and in 2000 was the external examiner for Wits School of Dramatic Art for
the directors and actors in 3rd year, 4th year and M.A. in directing.
She was Elizabeth Hurley's dialogue coach on
Darrly Roodt's film DANGEROUS GROUND.
Grethe was among 50 South Africans selected to meet with
the ANC for the famous DAKAR CONFERENCE in 1987. The experience
was unforgettable and profoundly significant in her life. |
