George Mari Quartet/Band on TheatreSA |
The George Mari Band/Quartet also known as GMQ has a wide repertoire
including a large selection of
Afro-Jazz standards, popular/main stream Jazz favourites and original
compositions.
GMQ performs regularly in and around Durban and has performed on several
occasions
at Zacks at Musgrave Centre and Wilson’s Wharf, the BAT Centre, Gateway,
Centre for Jazz & Popular Music (University of KwaZulu-Natal) and
the Sun Coast and Sibaya Casinos.
GMQ is regularly hired for a wide variety of corporate functions in
KwaZulu-Natal (See below).
And is currently resident band at St Tropez, Essenwood Rd (Sunday Lunch
1-4pm) |
